El día más largo es el día del año con más luz. - el solsticio de verano. Y es el día que me he comprometido a luchar Alzheimer's ¡enfermedad! Estoy participando en The Longest Day, un evento de recaudación de fondos para promover los esfuerzos de atención, apoyo e investigación del Alzheimer's Association.
I participate in honor of my grandfather, Donald Shriner, my great-grandmother Goldie Shriner, other great aunts and great uncles. I participate for the countless patients I have had the pleasure of serving in my 23 years of working as a music therapist and social worker for seniors in our community. I participate in hopes that one day memories will no longer be lost to this and other dementia-based diseases. I participate because I have one copy of the ApoE4 gene that may one day lead to the Late Onset of Alzheimer's Enfermedad.
