La razón POR LA QUE estoy participando en esta increíble recaudación de fondos...
Una historia de amor inspiradora que comenzó en 1989 mientras dos personas increíbles asistían juntas a una clase de fotografía.
Cuando mi tío Denny conoció a mi tía Lanee, ¡sabía que había algo "especial" en ella! Se hicieron mejores amigos y más tarde se comprometieron ese año. El brillo en sus ojos contó su historia de AMOR. Se casaron el 20 de mayo de 1995 en South Lake Tahoe.
In 2003 there were signs of dementia that Aunt Lanee was having that took them to see her Doctor. These signs and issues would continue to get worse and in 2004 they were given her official diagnosis.
The diagnosis wasn't what they had planned for but they were in this together.
My Uncle was her primary care giver and was by her side each step of the way. Unfortunately, there became a time where he wasn't able to take care of her daily needs so she was moved to a "Memory Care Facility".
Even though he wasn't able to be by her side every moment of every day he visited her daily and some times up to 3 times a day. I remember talking to him after one of his visits and he went on to tell me how he just gave her a manicure and pedicure. The LOVE they had for each other was priceless and unique!!
Aunt Lanee fought a long tough battle that would eventually take her from us on April 15, 2013 with my Uncle Denny was by her side.
El 20 de mayo de 2020 habría sido su 25 aniversario de boda, así que en honor de mi tía y de su historia de AMOR, estoy recaudando dinero.
