Hi, my name is Benji Smith, and I'm super excited to tell you about my love for racing! I've been doing quarter midget racing since I was 5. I'm part of the NASCAR Youth Series. 

Last year, I raced in three different cars, and it was amazing! I won the 2023 Lt 160 Championship at the American Quarter Midget Association in Rancho Cordova, California. 

Now, get ready for the 2024 season – it's going to be epic! I'll be racing in three classes: Sr Animal, Lt 160, and Lt World Formula. My big plan is to race in 20 local races and two national events. 

But wait, there's something even more important to me – helping people. This season, I want to support Alzheimer’s and Dementia awareness because I know lots of families, including mine, have someone affected by these diseases, and I want to make things better.

I will be doing fund raising in honor of Danny Gonsalves through the 2024 race season with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Foundation so please follow my Facebook page at Benji Smith Racing for updates.
