Every year the Alzheimer’s Ride evokes many emotions. As people share stories about their family’s journey with Alzheimer’s, there are feelings of hope and sadness, but also a sense of connection. Those connections are vital to providing the utmost care for our loved ones coping with this devastating disease.
This June, I am riding with a heavy heart in memory of my father, Bob Phillips, and all those we have lost to Alzheimer’s. I will continue to raise awareness and share stories to support other families navigating this challenging journey with Alzheimer’s.
Alzheimer’s Association provides education and valuable support to all those facing this difficult journey with Alzheimer’s. The funds raised by the ride benefit the Alzheimer's Association. The Alzheimer’s Association works to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward treatment, prevention, and, ultimately, a cure for la enfermedad de Alzheimer.
