Por qué viajo: My late father-in-law Floyd Wyatt succumbed to Alzheimer's in 2012. In the years leading up to this death, I had a number of conversations with him where he acknowledged the damage the disease was doing to him - and all he could do was let it run its course. If you've ever known someone in the throes of Alzheimer, you know how sad and frustrating it is to see the disease play out. On May 4 of this year, Sandy and I are going on this bike ride in lovely northern Virginia to raise research funds for the Alzheimer's Association. We like to bike anyway, but this ride has a special purpose. I hear that scientists are optimistic about Alzheimer's treatments that may develop from such research. I'd be very grateful if you would consider a donation.
