Hola
Happy summer, family and friends. I hope everyone is enjoying life and planning to do something special. I have survived my first year of retirement! Catching up with various projects at my home and purging through things that are no longer needed. I’ve had a personal hiccup occur and had surgery on my right hand. The knuckle of my middle finger became disconnected and had to be replaced with a Pyrocarlon Arthoplasty. (New knuckle) The surgery was successful and the hand is still healing.
I will again be participating in “The Ride to End ALZ.” The fund raising has begun and I will be riding with “Pedal Away Alzheimer’s Team” again. The ride will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024 in Wimberly, Texas. Please remember that 100% of the dollars raised goes directly to the Alzheimer’s research organization to find a cure.
My personal dedication is to Barbara Hayes a former Philadelphia Police Officer and personal friend who lost her battle with “ALZ” in 2004. I also dedicate riding for anyone and all who have been affected by this terrible disease. Please consider donating whatever you can to help the Alzheimer cause.
Respectfully & Thank You,
Susan Kres McCormick
