Se proyecta que la cantidad de personas con Alzheimer y otras demencias crecerá significativamente en las próximas décadas, aumentando la necesidad de atención de las familias y los cuidadores, y el costo. La buena noticia es que la lucha por tratamientos y curas efectivos está en pleno apogeo, y la Alzheimer's Association is in the thick of it! Recently an effective treatment for early diagnosed patients was announced.  The drug, Leqembi, was launched with coverage by Medicare and Medicaid. We are confident that additional treatments will soon follow.  Please join the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church team at the Rochester NY Walk to End Alzheimer's on October 7th. The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Come, donate, and walk with us to find that first survivor!
