Estoy participando en el Walk to End Alzheimer's in memory of my father, Walter Travis, and to support the millions of people impacted by all forms of dementia. My father was an intelligent, warm, accomplished author, professor and public speaker, with a quick wit and infectious laugh...and he adored his family. I miss him every day. He suffered enormous mental, emotional and physical pain throughout his battle with dementia and I'm doing whatever I can to help eliminate this terrible disease. With recent breakthroughs in research, diagnosis, and two newly approved medical treatments (with more than 150 treatments currently in trial), the future is brighter now than ever before and i'm extremely grateful for any support you can provide.
