Some of you might remember my grandmother, Gail. She was one of the kindest people I’ve ever known, and I was truly fortunate to learn from her over the years. Sadly, we lost Mimi to Alzheimer's in 2023. Her memory lives on through the wonderful legacy she left behind, and those who knew her have only fond things to say.

What many might not know is that my other grandmother, Candy, also faced Alzheimer's. Her journey with the disease was quite different from Mimi's, providing me with insight into the varied ways Alzheimer's can impact individuals. Though Nana recently passed away from other causes, I witnessed the subtle changes brought on by Alzheimer, which can be challenging to understand.
