I�€™m walking in memory of my Nonna, Maria Bisso. While my nonna lost her battle with Alzheimer�€™s in 1995, her memory had faded long before that. I was robbed of many years of memories with her. The toll it took on my mom, is something I will never forget.
In November 2020, I lost my second Grandmother to this terrible disease. I will be forever grateful that I was able to have her at our September wedding. My grandmother's memory had been failing over the last few years and I'm happy her suffering is over. We had weekly dinner dates prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and I loved those nights.
