This past year my dear friend, Maria, was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's disease.  She's given me permission to post this as she, too, wants to bring as much awareness to the disease as possible.  On November 9, 2024, we are participating existentes en la Alzheimer's Walk in Philadelphia.  We chose this location so Maria's family would be able to participate and we can surround Maria with all the love and support possible while she fights this terrible disease.  I, as many of us do, have family members that are currently dealing with the disease or have dealt with it in the past so this hits very close to home.  Please join us in the fight to try and end Alzheimer's.
