More than 6 million people in the United States are living with Alzheimer's disease and right now, there is no cure to help them. Alzheimer's disease causes people to lose their memories and knowledge of how to do daily tasks, like eating and dressing themselves. After a while, the patient's inner self becomes trapped in their body, unable to escape because they don't know how.

My grandma was one of those 6 million. She had Alzheimer's for nearly 14 years, but in November 2020, she unfortunately lost her battle with this horrible disease.
